Coach Trey brings over 30 years of volleyball experience to Eclipse Volleyball Club, both as a competitive player and passionate coach. He has played in and won numerous A and AA coed and men's league championships and tournaments, and he continues to compete in local league and recreational volleyball—staying sharp and connected to the game he loves.
A multi-sport athlete growing up, Coach Trey has coached a variety of youth sports over the years, but volleyball is where he found his true coaching passion. He has experience coaching at both the club and high school levels and is currently the Varsity Head Coach for Brentsville District High School in Nokesville, Virginia.
This season, he is excited to launch and lead Eclipse's new 16U girls program, where he’ll bring his energy, leadership, and developmental focus to a new group of athletes.
Coach Trey is also a dedicated father of two daughters, both competitive volleyball players. His oldest plays at the high school and club level, while his youngest competes at the middle school level and through the Boys and Girls Club—underscoring a strong family commitment to the sport.
His coaching philosophy is rooted in a holistic approach: developing the whole athlete through mindset, physical health, and technical skill. Coach Trey is passionate about helping players grow in confidence, resilience, and teamwork—laying a foundation not only for volleyball success but for life beyond the court.
